Gold work inspired by Egyptian images

Nefertiti and Horus stitched in gold work techniques and canvas work . Horus head was made by using the inside of a tomato paste tube.

Egyptian Exhibition

As we are taking a journey down the Nile in stitch I thought you may like to go and see an Egyptian exhibition that is on in Leeds at the moment for inspiration Unfortunately it finished on the 17th June just before the first workshop
