Rust, silk paper and stitch



This month we were experimenting with silk paper and Dorset buttons, creating a piece that looked like metal.
I do believe we achieved this effect with very quick results.

Many of us also had fun making traditional Dorset buttons and we looked at Dorset farmers smocks and had a go at smocking

This month proved a really good mix of both experimental and traditional embroidery.
